SUMMER BEACH DAY CAMP FAQ's
When do I drop off my child?
The camp starts at 9:00am and ends at 4:00pm each day. Early drop-off can be arranged for 8:30am. Please let us know during registration or speak with a camp counsellor.
When do I pick-up my child?
The camp ends at 4:00pm each day. Late pick-up is 5:00. Please let us know during registration or speak with a camp counsellor.
Does my child need a lunch?
Yes. We recommend each camper have a lunch along with snacks for mid-morning and mid-afternoon break. We also strongly recommend each camper bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated during the day.
Does my child need to have any money?
Your choice. We do recommend each camper have some cash in case they wish to visit the local snack bar. We ensure a counsellor accompanies the campers.
Should my child bring a bathing suit?
Yes. We are near a swimming area which is great for cooling off on hot days. We also recommend each camper have a towel.
What is a typical day like at the camp?
Each day, is a mix of volleyball and non-volleyball activities. The morning usually consists of volleyball sessions focused on fundamentals and development Following a lunch break, campers enjoy non-volleyball activities such as paddle boarding or swimming! The afternoon is also free time to work on specific skills and game play. On Friday, we host a fun competition.
What clothes should my child wear?
We recommend beach attire that you do not mind getting sandy (dirty). In addition, we recommend each child pack a separate set of clothes in case of rain. You may also wish your child to change out of the sandy clothes and into clean clothes before entering your vehicle.
Should she bring anything else?
Yes. Sunscreen and sunglasses are highly recommended.
What happens if it rains?
As this is an outdoor camp, we may experience inclement weather. In cases of light rain, we proceed as per usual. If we experience heavy rain, we will use our discretion and seek shelter. In the case of lightning, we will not be on the volleyball courts for safety reasons.

Our camp counsellors are all recognized high level volleyball players who have a great way of working with children and tweeners.
